Sunday, October 4th OWL will be providing activities for kids at the Pit Run and community picnic from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in Neawah Park. The theme for the day is racing and will feature activities such as building and creating a wide variety of marble and race tracks appropriate for ages infant and up. The activities are free and open to the public. SAVE YOUR TP & PAPER TOWEL TUBES FOR US! We're also going to need some empty cereal boxes.
Do check out the article in the Daily Star about Hanford Mills Museum's delightful fall workshops: timber frame building, handquilting & intro to woodlot and wildlife management.
Oneonta Taekwon-do has some great fall offerings as well (and I hear good things about their programming).
Also consider your local library. They offer so much more than just story time, and most of the events are listed in one handy spot on the web!
