The Stroll of Nations offers a fun opportunity to learn about the games, dances, food and culture of other countries.

Sat and Sun, 9am-4pm: Shaver Hill Farm open house. Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Tree Tapping and Boiling Demos, Samples, Activities for kids, Maple Cotton Candy. It's an easy drive down 23 toward Stamford from Oneonta. Pancakes served all day. http://www.shaverhillfarm.com

The Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society is running the Easter Bunny Train 3/27, 3/28, 4/3 and 4/4. The train departs @ 2 pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 432-1143 (The trains often sell out).

Sugaring Off Sundays at the Farmer's Museum (through April 4th). Pancake breakfast, traditional maple sugaring activities, historic Carousel, 9 am - 2 pm.

Looking ahead:

Books Alive! An Interactive children's concert: singer songwriter Lee Knight has written original songs to our favorite stories. Children are invited to perform each song as if it were a musical number in a show with costumes, props and puppets. Ideal for families with children aged 3 through 9. Bring your camera!
